Matt Barker
Owner
Matthew studied Building Trades at the Lewis & Clark Career Center and graduated in 2011. He continued his career primarily in residential construction as a Journeyman carpenter. For nearly a decade, Matthew worked for Fischer & Frichtel in various roles, where he gained extensive knowledge in the field. Matthew’s drive and vision inspired him to establish The Barker Company in 2021. He and his crew specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, home additions, and new construction. Matthew actively recruits and trains his crew to be the best in the industry.
Hayden Rhoades
Project Manager
Hayden has been working in the construction industry since 2004. As a leader, he teaches and encourages his crew to work together as a team to complete projects in a timely manner. Hayden’s positive attitude and ability to recognize everyone’s individual strengths make him an excellent teacher.
Alexa Stellern
Principal Designer & Owner
A graduate of Maryville University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, Stellern approaches every project with artistry, precision, and a deep respect for the lived experience of a home. Her goal is to create interiors that are beautiful, meaningful, and full of life—spaces that feel as authentic as the people who call them home. Although her company is Alexa Stellern Design, Lexie is the name most clients know her by, adding a personal touch to every project.
